Double Deuce Lounge is back, with a new take on the ’70s.
For eight weeks, the much-loved Sydney bar takes up residence at 137 Oxford Street with Mister Mister. One shopfront, two lives: made-to-measure tailoring by day, Double Deuce by night.
This time Double Deuce takes its love of the 1970s somewhere new: Spanish Harlem. The colour, rhythm, drinks and energy of Nuyorican New York, seen through the Double Deuce lens. Presented in partnership with Bacardi.

Before Double Deuce takes over each evening, the room belongs to Mister Mister. Founder Daniel Narvaez brings his made-to-measure tailoring to Oxford Street: fittings, styling and appointments, straight from the shopfront.
Every garment is cut from a pattern made for the person wearing it. Traditional technique, a product designer’s precision, and a relaxed approach to personal style.
“Mister Mister has always been about making tailoring personal rather than formal. You can come in, get fitted, spend some time with us, and then at five o’clock the same room becomes one of Sydney’s great bars.”
Camilo Panama hats, hand-woven in Ecuador and finished in Sydney, are in the room for the whole residency. Get styled and fitted by Mister Mister, and take one home.
The tailoring stops. The lights change.

The clothes stay, the music gets louder and the drinks start moving. The Double Deuce you know is very much back, with a new drinks list written for the residency and the classics right where you left them.
“We didn’t want to come back and just do exactly the same thing. Spanish Harlem gave us this whole new part of the ’70s to explore. It feels like Double Deuce, but it feels new again.”
